New Belkin Serial Port A/B Switch Box for Apple (inside opened box) Switch between 2 printers or 2 peripheral devices.

It is a mini din 8, for the printer and/or modem ports on an Apple computer. For example, one computer can use two different printers or modems or any device that uses the mini din 8 (serial) cable, by using the switch to switch between the two devices. Or two computers may use one printer or other device. N/A.

The mini din 4 is the ADB port (Apple Desktop Bus). If your looking to use multiple keyboards, mice or trackballs and such, you may want to purchase the ADB Y cable is currently in stock. This cable has one male and two female connectors. The male end connects to the ADB port on the computer, allowing you to connect an additional device other than the keyboard.

 


ADB Kensington Turbo Mouse 5.0 (trackball)

 
This is the 4 button turbo mouse with programmable buttons. Below is a picture of the control panel, showing some of the thing you can do with this mouse.

Software is available at Kensington's web site. Great for flight simulators, racing games and especially if you don't have room for a mouse next to your keyboard. Sure beats a mouse!

The AppleDesign Keyboard is lighter, a bit lighter and newer than the Apple Extended II keyboard. It has all the same keys and has a built-in keyboard cable. The second port is for attaching the mouse or trackball, joystick, etc.
